Frequently asked questions

I purchased a design, how do I download it?

Etsy will make your purchase designs available for download once they have processed your payment. This usually happens within minutes. An email will be sent that contains your receipt and a link to click to download.
If you are logged into your Etsy account you can also be found under “Purchases and Reviews.” Click the “Download Files” button on the right side of the order. This button takes you to the downloads page for all the files attached to your order.

Can I download my SVG file(s) on my Phone?

Currently, you can not use the Etsy app to download your purchases. You can, however, download the file to your phone from Etsy.com using your internet browser on your phone.

How do I upload my SVG file to the Cricut Design Space App on my IPhone?

Using an iPhone, open your internet browser app, go to Etsy.com, and download your file(s) {purchases and reviews > download files}. Save them to your iCloud files. Navigate to your Files app > ICloud files > Downloads and unzip the file if needed. Now in the Cricut app > New Project > Upload > Browse Files > and click on the file you want. The SVG file will have 2 blue boxes as the picture. Name the file and click Save. Now you'll be taken to your library where you can select the file again and insert it onto the canvas.

My SVG Card / Papercraft won't work in Cricut Design Space

You'll need to ungroup the design and change the white and /or blue lines, as instructed in the file, from cut to score. Then attach them to the corresponding shape. Now when you click "Make it" the score lines will score and the cut lines will cut on the correct material.

My file only looks like a photo or opens in Microsoft Edge, not as SVG!

Most likely you have clicked on the SVG file and it opened in a web browser. This is because you don’t have your cutting program set as the default for these file types. Open your cutting machine software and then upload the file. Now everything should work correctly.
